Christopher has broad experience in his over 30 years federal law enforcement leadership, homeland security and emergency management. He is currently a university professor at St. John’s University developing curriculum in homeland security, law enforcement operations, intelligence gathering, organizational leadership and protection critical resources. He has consulted local and federal law enforcement, industrial facilities, school systems, and private sector businesses on undercover operations training, emergency and crisis planning, and developing training programs.

His post-secondary education includes a bachelor’s management, a master’s degree in education, and a doctorate in homeland security leadership and policy. He also has taken a multitude of advanced training on the incident command system, leadership during emergencies, and exercise
design. Christopher has responded to several emergencies, including active shooter, officer injured, hurricanes, and earthquakes. He is a member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, and Order of Sword & Shield Homeland Security and Emergency Management Honor Society.
